Coach Green is a native of South Carolina, where he coached for 27 years before moving to North Carolina in 2000 to join Coach Bob Wolfe’s staff at Apex High School. Last season marked his 45th year of coaching football.
In North Carolina, he has been head coach at Leesville Road, Burlington Williams and Enloe. He has won Coach of the Year Honors in 2006, 2007 and 2011 and was a member of the 2014 NC Shrine Bowl coaching staff.
His wife, Laurie Calder-Green, is a retired coach who has won numerous State Championships in basketball and volleyball.
Coach Green is a National Board Certified teacher and teaches Law and Justice and Civics at Green Hope.
